family ownership in the third generation – one reason for outstanding
customer performance and constantly evolving engineering expertise for

The story of our company begins in 1910 with the construction of our first side discharger muck car – made of wood. Throughout European road, railway and water tunnelling right up to global projects Karl-Heinz MÜHLHÄUSER GmbH & Co. KG develops solutions according to the needs of large tunnelling sites around the world. Karl-Heinz Mühlhäuser has led the way to european projects till the 1960s, laying the foundations for globalization by his son, Heinz-Peter Mühlhäuser.
